Event Logs

When I open the Event Viewer on the Server (Terminal
Services Server) the logs seem to be normal. After I
click on Application, Security or any of the logs all of
the logs become empty. When you initially open it you can
see events logged until you click on any other log. Help
Is this a virus? I have been searching Symantec's site
and Microsoft's as well and have found nothing.
