Event ID 7024 Service Control Manager.. error 234

Hi There,

I tried to start Routing and Remote Access on a W2k Advance Server it
wouldn't have it. Checked Event Viewer and received the following message
"The Routing and Remote Access service terminated with specific error 234".
What does that mean and where am i going wrong. The Event ID is 7024 but it
doesnt explain and give any resolutions.

Can anyone help me ... please?

I'm new to this newsgroup so please bear with me if my question is a bit
silly.

Event ID 7024 is not specific to the service, it just
means that the service failed to terminate properly.
Error 234 can be found with "C:\>NET HELPMSG 234" which
returns: "More data is available", again not particularly
helpful.

Is there anything in the data feild for the event? Have
you checked the service to see that it is running under
Local System account and that it is enabled?
