net logon service doesn't start

First of all, Service control manager stops with an error in event log:

Event ID: 7024
The Net Logon service terminated with service-specific error 2138.

Source: NETLOGON
Event ID: 2138
The Workstation service has not been started.

I have a new network card installed, is it possible that it cause this
problem? (Old is disabled)
Net logon service is set to start automatically.

It helped!

I modified it before because of a recommendation on another problem.
It recommended to be that I have to modify DependOnService to contain DNS,
but I was unable to modify the key contents (type is REG_MULTI_SZ), so I
renamed the old key and have created a new one with REG_SZ type.
How can I add a new string to a REG_MULTI_SZ typed key?
