Net Logon Error 2138

I have had a pernicious Net Logon Error for months now that requires that I
manually start the Net Logon service. I still have no idea what is causing
it. I currently run Win2K Standard with SP4 on my DC, but have had the
error since SP1.

I found the following advice:
"Something else to try. Remove and reinstall the Workstation service. To do
this remove the "Client for Microsoft networks", reboot. Then add it back.
Note that when you remove Client for MS networks it will also uninstall the
Netlogon service. When you re-add it the netlogon service is reinstalled but
set to manual and missing a dependency on the server service. Make sure you
set netlogon to automatic and re-add the dependency on the server service
(lanmanserver). "

I cannot find any way to add the server service as a dependency if I do
this. Does this have to be done through a seperate program? Thanks ahead
of time.

It has to be done directly in the registry.

HKLM/system/CCS/services/workstation/dependonservice which is a Multi line
string entry.
