Description: The name "<WorkGroupName> :1d" could not be
registered on the Interface with IP address
nnn.nnn.nnn.nnn. The machine with the IP address
mmm.mmm.mmm.mmm did not allow the name to be claimed by
this machine.



When I reboot my machine my network address is replaced
with 0.0.0.0 and I have no network connectivity. This
issue is resolved by running the network wizzard only to
return upon reboot.

Hi,

This is happening because of a name conflict on the network. The name it
is trying to register on the network is already there. We have an article
