Event id 3095 - Netlogon service

Hi,
I have two XP PC's connect to a Lan, I can ping both fine, but when I try
and map a drive I receive error 5, then why I try and Start the Netlogon
service I receive the following message "The Net Logon service on the local
computer started then stopped, etc.......", I have tried to set the service
to manual startup, and I have rebooted etc....., any suggestions regarding
this would be greatly appericated, Thanks in Advance ;-)

make sure the workstation service is running. this may help,
