Event ID 256?

I'm getting a lot of warnings in Event Viewer from the PlugPlay Manager.
Event ID is 256 and the message says: "Timed out sending notification
of device interface change to window of "MyTest""

What does this mean, and what, if anything, should I do about it?
 
Mike -- Thanks, that's a useful site. The bottom line of the cited KB
article is that "This Event ID is merely a warning that the application
did not respond, and it can be ignored" but I guess before I completely
ignore it I'll still poke around a bit to see if I can figure out what
app was running a window called "MyTest"?
