Event ID 1383, NTDS replication problem

OUR AD's GC show the following errors :

The local computer has no X.509 certificate of type "DomainController."
Until such a certificate is added, all DS replication between this server and
all servers in other sites will fail.

I can't get any soultion to trouble-shoo this from support website, anyone
know what was wrong ? Now Our Exchange2000 can't syn other child domain's
mail addresses now. RUS seems hang caused by this problem.

Did you configure SMTP intersite replication rather than RPC ?

Hi Gleen,

Yup, I found that most intersite link transport are moved to SMTP, now I
deleted them and add back to RPC, then the problem seems solved now.

By the way, is IP transport better than RPC ?
