Event ID 1000

We are getting the following Event ID 1000 information on
our Windows 2000 TS Application log:
"Windows could not save the registry settings in your user
profile on its first try because another program or
service was editing them. Windows tried again and saved
them after 26 attempts."
We are not sure if we need to load a fix for this.
Appreciate any information on this. Thanks.

KB 232476 must be followed to prevent user profile (userenv id:1000) errors.
Otherwise user profiles are not deleted locally from the server. This KB
article must also be performed on the filesvr that the user profiles reside
on.
