event id 1000

After install windows 2000 advanced server in an AD
forest, i found in the event viewer that problem it only
happens once when reboot the machine and log on:

"event id 1000 access denied to the profile, compilation
error 2195"

That server is a fresh intall and a dcpromo (proliant g3).



Any help?

Thanks for your posting here.

Is the user using roaming profile?
Would you please provide the detailed event log?

I recommend that you copy a msconfig.exe tool from Windows XP/2003 computer
to your DC and run it to disable Startup Group and all the third party
services.

What is the result?

If the problem still persists, please refer to the following article to set
UserEnvDebugLevel = 0x00010002 in registry to create a Userenv.log. We may
find more clues in the log.
