I have a Windows XP Pro environment with 3 computers connected to the
Internet via a D-Link 624 router. One desktop intermittently loses connection
to the Internet. The Internet Gateway detection on that desktop suddenly
shows no Internet connection and it fixes itself a while later.
Analyzing the event log, I see event 8033 often, sometimes several times a
day. The description is: "The browser has forced an election on network
\Device\NetBT_Tcpip_{XXXXXX-XXXX-XXX-XXXXX-XXXXXX} because a master browser
was stopped."
It seems like this event has something to do with me losing my Internet
connection. Any suggestions?
