Eudora versus OE versus Incredimail

Taking precautions (preview pane disabled... firewall installed...
anti-virus kept updates) and all other factors being equal (with one
exception).. is one of these three email clients better than the other
two? The one factor in this mix which I single out is the OE address
book which, it seems to me, is the culprit in many of these virus
scripts. Any comments?

The OE address book is certainly used by many of the nasty viruses, like
Klez and the recent SoBig. Not that this matters if you do not get
infected. Where Eudora scores is in handling attachments. You have to
work on it to get infected, over warnings. All OE does is have a
blunderbuss switch that prevents you accessing an attachment *at all* if
it could conceivably contain a virus, which make it very difficult for a
known source to send you a script or other executable even if you have
clearly asked for it, without opening the portal wide.
