Ethernet Adapter Driver

B

Bill Gialluca

I just recently had Dell Support replace the MotherBoard,
Memory and Processor in my Dimension 2350 PC. After I re-
installed WinXp Pro and loaded all my drivers I was not
able to connect to the internet. I'm networked together
with a Linksys router and the PC is the main computer.
Even after I install the driver for my ethernet adapter
which is a Broadcom Xtreme Gigabit I get a code 10
error,"this device is not working". In Device Manager a
black exclamation point over yellow background shows up. I
checked all my cable connections and everything is secure
and seated properly. Could you tell me the fix for this.

Hello
You need to install the correct driver, go to the device manager double
click the adapter go to update drive and choose the option to choose which
driver to install if you do not see the correct drive in the list choose
"have disk"
