ERRORS: ipnathlp & W32Time ?????

For the last month I was trying to update my computer and
must've really messed things up because the "blue screen"
stated the windows was shut down to save it. Well, I
couldn't get safe mode or anything to work so I just did
a factory restore. Assuming that all was OK I went MSN
to set up my account again to have the internet. I then
went to upgrade my Media Player which was going to take
about 3 hours. Before it was completed my computer goes
into a "sleep" and won't come back up. Three lights are
always running and the monitor is to energy saver. The
mouse and keyboard won't work until it decides to come
back up on its own. Which could be minutes or hours. I've
went into the error log and these above errors are
listed, also this one - Service Control Manager --
Following boot-start or system-start drive(s)failed to
load: i8042prt. The "sleep" problem was happening before
I started updates. I was hoping the factory restore
would take care of this but it didn't. Do you have and
suggestions for me?
