Errors installing HP 7130 All-in-one printer

Cannot completely install HP 7130 All-in-one printer on my
dell lattitude. Can successfully install software from cd
provided but when procedure asks me to connect the printer
via usb port, "the chaos begins." Ultimately ending in an
unsuccessful install. One error message that I receive
is "operation requires interactive windows station."
