Errors in Java

I installed win xp pro and when I load my browser and go to my website I'm
missing my google adsense banner. I installed Suns' java the latest one but
it slows down my IE 6. I have 1.50 but no go so I tend to believe it is XP Pro

I have xp pro on another machine and I see everything fine. I tried firefox
to see if it was IE 6 acting up but still no go.

Please help it has been over 3 months with this error.
