I installed office 2007 and everything seems to be all right. However when I
start outlook I get this message.
Business contact manager has encountered a problem and needs to close.

I send the report.

And I say that I want to start up in safe mode.
Then I get this message:
Outlook failed to launch in safe mode. Do you want to start detect and repair?
Everything is checked and found ok.

I get a message saying: Microsoft Officed Enterprise 2007 setup completed
successfully.

If I then start outlook again either after restarting the computer or not,
it all just starts all over again.

Who can help?

To just get into Outlook you can remove the BCM store from this Mail
profile (if any), disable the BCM add-in from Outlook in the Registry,
or uninstall BCM.

If BCM is failing right away when Outlook starts up, I'd suspect that
the .NET CLR can't load BCM. Perhaps your .NET 2.0 is different from
the one BCM expects. If you are not on Vista, you could try
uninstalling BCM, uninstalling .NET, and then reinstalling BCM, so
that it installs .NET 2.0 with the patches BCM expects.

If you want to investigate further, you could try to get a log of the
CLR loading BCM.

Microsoft support can probably help. When your PC sent the report,
your machine logged the report id. Support can look up that report id,
and find out if its a known issue (other users are running into it),
and if there's a solution.

Hi Luther,

you must be having two versions of .net framework or a beta version of one
of the frame works. Make sure you only have .net framwork 2.0 and uninstall
the rest. If the problem persists, please mail me with the error details for
further help

Thanks
Ravi
