error while deleting registry key

I get the message "error while deleting key" when trying
to delete the Hewlett-Packard key from the registry.
Under Edit / Permissions, I am listed as having full
control and I am a computer administrator. What could be
causing it and how can I resolve it?

This could be cause by the fact the the key is in use by
an application on the system. For example in this
context if say you had the HP Tray Util running and it
was using the key, then it become's "Read Only" and
therefore you won't be able to delete it. This is more
then likely the case if you say you are the
Administrator. What specific key is it???
