Error when trying to install XP Pro

I have Windows ME, and I would like to have XP because ME is causing lots of
problems. But, when I go to install it I get an error message. Winnt32 has
caused an error in KERNEL32.DLL. Winnt32 will now close. I don't know how to
get past this if I even can. I desperately need some help.

Hi Jacki,

What were your issues before with ME? Perhaps you should try to understand
and combat those, first. In the meantime:

WINNT32 this program has performed an illegal operation. WINNT32 caused an
invalid page fault in module KERNEL32.DLL

It's not a good idea to upgrade a system that has problems. Do a clean
install.
