Error when saving Notes

I know this problem has been posted before, and as in that one, I too have
all the updates installed but still the error persists......

If I drag an email across and drop onto the Notes icon, it creates a new
note correctly.
But when I try to close Outlook 2003 I get the following errors:

"could not complete the action. One or more parameter values are not valid"

I click OK and then get:

"The note will close and your changes will not be saved"

Try to close again and I get the same errors.

After this the only way to close Outlook is through Ctrl + Alt + Delete and
Task Manager.

Thanks in advance & hope

Does the same happen when you close the note first?

No, when I drop the email onto a note, it lets me vew and close the note (no
errors).
It lets me look at the list of notes I have.
It lets me go back to my mailbox and carry on reading mail.
But I get the errors when I come to close Outlook.

longshot but it could be an add-in that's causing it - seem to remember that
one of the Intravnews builds would give this error.

MS seem to have only one possible solution for this which I found here :

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/842942/en-us

Sadly in my case and yours, we are NOT using Outlook Conduits for Palm or
for Chapura PocketMirror and yet I and all of my Outlook 2003 users still
receive the error message when adding / amending / deleting Notes.

Any further ideas would be most welcome. I've asked for updates on this
thread but if you want to contact me directly then you can reach me on:-
