Error when deleting item scanned!

I am receiving the following error when I try to remove an item found by
Windows Defender during scanning.

Windows Defender encountered an error: 0x80501001. One or more actions could
not be completed successfully.

Please tell me what I need to do in order to fix this problem. I have
already tried uninstalling and reinstalling Windows Defender.
