What is the name and location of the file?

Hi Bob,

It was Saveui

It is not there anymore since I have reinstall my laptop

:-)

I actually still have a problem with this Defender error message, so I am
requesting help. Here is what Defender detected, and what I tried to delete
but received the error message. First of all, I don't if I even SHOULD have
been trying to delete it... is it a problem? I don't know, but given all
"unknowns" in the Defender information, I asked to delete it.
Summary:
Service & Drivers Change Occurred
Path:
C:\ProgramFiles\sony\vaiopowermanagement\sonycpu.sys
Detected Changes:

Any advice about whether this is a danger and I was right in trying to
delete it? If I was, what do I do now that I've received the error message?
Thanks.

I was hoping that someone who has actually seen Vista would have replied by
now.<g>

From my reading, the system files are better protected in Vista and if we
are to assume your computer is a Sony, I wouldn't be too worried. My
impression is that your situation isn't the same as the other poster. I
would advise you to start your own thread and hope that someone with some
experience with Vista will respond.
