I've been experiencing a few crashes recently and after restart get the
message, 'windows has recovered from a serious error ..... ' I select
the option to send error report and it runs through the three stages.
Then I get a message saying

http://oca.microsoft.com/resredir.a...ueue=500&LCID=1033&OS=5.1.2600.2.00010300.2.0
Application not found

My guess is that somethings is missing, preventing the error report
being sent to Microsoft which may then generate a response from the
database with suggestions for rectifying the problem.

Any one got any ideas about this.

Hi Dek,
First of all Backup your Data and be ready for the bad news!.
This kind of error may caused by many reasons:
= Your HHD going Bad
= Your system Overheated (in this Cooking Summer)
= You have a bad application installed or uninstalled and left its driver
behind and the system when bootup try reading the left traces in the registry
issuing the Error Message you can see.
= Malwares and Viruses on your system (try to scan and be sure your system
is clean).
= Go to the Manufacturer of your Computer or HHD and download their
Diagnostic tools to test your HHD drive for any Error or Damaged and be
certain is Ok or Not.

If you still covered by their Warranty do not do any thing just take to the
shop you bought from and they will Do the necessary.

= Look in the Event Viewer for any Specs Application may causing this Error
and Write it down and post them here if any.
= The Normal and logical Q? what been changed between time when it was
working and when it was not.
Please write back with your findings.
HTH
Regards,
nass
