error report during software installation

I am experiencing an "error report" message while installing an
I-Tunes/Quicktime cd for the Ipod. The "error report file name is
C:\DOCUME~\owner\LOCALS~1\TEMP\46a9_appcompat.txt
 
Hi Malke ! Thank you for your response. I did refer to the link and I tried
out all the options to correct the problem to no avail. One of the solutions
suggested to right click and remove the TEMP folder in My Computer and it
would not allow me to do that. It read something about it being "write
protected", if I can remember correctly. I sincerely appreciate any help or
suggestions.

You don't need to remove the TEMP folder - just delete the files inside
it.

Contact the Author of the program you having problems with. I believe it
is Apple Computer.
