error registering vbscript.dll

hi
whenever i open my outlook it comes up with an error failed to register a vb
script dll. reinstall or run regsvr32.exevbscript.dll to self register. A
required action was not successful due to an unspecified error. the
operation failed, and the outlook closed. i have self register by entering
the command "regsvr32.exevbscript.dll" to the run command box and it tell me
DllRegisterServer in vbscript.dll succeeded. but after registering many time
when i open outlook ig gives me the same error does any one know about this
kindly help me out this.

This is from a newsgroup post and it worked for the person there.

Go to C:\WINDOWS\system32 and rename vbscript.dll to vbscript.dll.old.

The go to add/remove programs and highlight Office, click change then do a
repair.

Can't verify if this will work, but worked for someone else and shouldn't
hurt.

Sorry buddy it didnt work on mymachine. I m using Microsoft Office 2003.
