Error Receiving Mail

I am trying to sychronize my Microsoft Outlook with my Hotmail account, but
it never works. Sending emails works, but it can not receive them. I just
am left with an error report that says: "Task 'Hotmail: Folder: Inbox
Synchronizing headers.' reported error (0x800CCCF7) :'The server responded
'This operation is not permitted for this type of client.'.'"
Does anyone know how I can get it totally synchronized??? I have tried
everything and it still does not work

Well, you never did mention if you installed the Outlook Connector
add-on to provide IMAP-like access to your Hotmail account using the
Deltasync protocol provided by that add-on. Nor did you mention HOW you
connect to their mail server, like whether by HTTP (using Deltasync) or
by POP and SMTP, in the e-mail account that you defined in your
unidentified version of Outlook.

Outlook version?
Using POP/SMTP or using the Outlook Connector add-on?
If the add-on, got the latest version of it?
What type of e-mail account did you define in Outlook for Hotmail?
