error publishing from one HARD drive

I crashed and am trying to rebuild. I am using FP beta 2003 with
service patch, I am trying to publish from one HARD drive location to
another and am getting the following error message. .

"An error occurred accessing your Windows SharePoint Services site
files. Authors - if authoring against a Web server, please contact the
Webmaster for this server's Web site. WebMasters - please see the
server's application event log for more details."

Anyone know what this is and how to fix or get around it?
