Error programme must close...

I bought a CD ROM called Medfaxx. When I attempt to run it I get an error
message saying " Microsoft has encountered a problem and must close"
The error signature is: medfaxx.exe
ModVer: 5.1.2600.2180
AppVer: 2.0.26.0
Offset: 0001eb33
ModName: kernel.dll

I dont know if any of the details are relevant, but if anyone could suggest
a solution or even a cause of the problem that would be vvv helpful

software.
