ERROR OUT OF MEMORY

I HAVE WINDOWS HOME PREMIUM WITH 2GIG RAM INSTALLED FROM FACTORY
HAD SOME PROBLEMS, SO REINSTALLED WINDOWS AND VISTA UPGRADE.WHILE
DOWNLOADING MOVIES KEEP GETTING ERROR MESSAGE OUT OF MEMORY,NOTHING ELSE IN
MESSAGE.COMPUTER IS SLOWING DOWN. ALSO IS ONLY 6 MONTHS OLD.HOW DO I FIX
THIS.ANY HELP WOULD BE GOOD THANKS.

Have you checked the Event Log in Adminstrative Tools to see if there are
any error messages relating to start up? If you do, copy the contest and
post back here for a better diagnosis. Also, are there any external devices
attached the system such as USB external drives for example? Also, I would
check the Problem Reports and Solutions applet in Control Panel > View
Problem History to see if there are any application or device driver error
messages.

Agreed!

Junglejim, have you tried opening your Computer and switching the memory
modules, trying each one at a time to see if it filters down the problem?

ANDRE---- CHECKED LOGS SAYS NOTHING WRONG. ALSO TRYED YOUR SUGGESTION REVERST MEMORY MODULES. RAN WINDOWS MEMORY TEST SAID ALL IS OK NO PROBLEMS.WHATS NEXT??????
