Error opening Excel attachment by OutlookExpress

Since I have installed the Service Pack 3 on Office2000, if I try to open an
attached excel file by OutlookExpress on 2 pc with win2000 patched it goes
out me:
"Error of the application - Excel.exe has provoked errors and it will be
closed... "
then appears the message "Impossible to find the file
"c :\... \ proof.xls" and on the register "DrWatson - id 4097 - The
application has
produced an error."
While if I save the enclosure on the desktop I quietly open it. Someone
knows
the reason?
