error on start up

have windows 2000 professional on a network...recently
tried to load new driver for kensington mouse 6.0.2 upon
reboot system locks out keyboard and mouse
functions...keyboard is able to function when first turned
on...ie f10, f8 and such...but when put in safe mode
keyboard goes inactive...no ctrl-alt-del function to log
in to network....

If the driver is causing the keyboard and mouse to not work, the best bet is
to try the Last Known Good option on your boot menu. Press F8 to get to this
when you boot.
