error on page

I am using IE 6.0 and when I try to view certain pages, i
get a message that says "error on page"at the botton left
hand corner of the window.

any suggestions?

It is usually generated when an object fails to load from the page you are
viewing.
This can be from several things ....... a pop-up failed to load, a HOSTS
file entry, etc.

Common erro nothing to worry about.
This may also be the cause.

Quite by accident I discovered what was causing my problem. I use a utility
called AdSubtract to suppress all those annoying pop up ads, banners, etc.
When I shut the utility off, the error on page problems goes away.
