When I boot my system, it does it's thing and then brings up a dialog box
titled "User Environment" with a message "Windows cannot load the user's
profile but has logged you on with the default profile for the system.

DETAIL - The system has attempted to load or restore a file into the
registry, but the specified file is not in a registry file format. "

How can I get rid of this message?

Thanks jb

Hi JB,
You have corrupt user profile tht for sure, try to create a nrew Profile
with Admin Rights and move the Data from the Old Corrupted Profile like (
Docs, Outlook Emails, Address Book, Favorites ...) and whatever Data you want
to rescue from the Old Profile.
On how to create a new profile read this article:

HTH.
Please let us know your result.
