error occured while setup updating partition information

I purchased a used hp lc2000r that came with two 733mhz
processors, 3 18gib hd and a raid 5 controller config.

i am trying to install win2k server and get this message.

an error occured while setup was updating partition
information on:

1048571 MB Disk 0 at Id 0 on bus 0 on MRAID35x

setup cannot continue.

That is a lot of free space for a 36GB RAID 5...

Ensure that you use the correct RAID adapter drivers from HP, and load them
with F6 just after booting from the CD. Also ensure that the controller
BIOS corresponds to the driver version, HP should be able to tell you what
version you need.
