After receiving this error.
Windows 2000 could not start becuase the following file is
missing or corrupted:
<Windows 2000 root>\system32\ntoskrnl.exe.

I've began the reinstallation of the OS by deleting the C
partition and install on the D partition but got the
following error.
Error occurred while Setup was updating partition
information on:
19540MB Disk 0 at ID on but 0 on atapi.
Setup cannot continue.

Rebooting the Server and only getting a Flashing Curser in
the left hand corner.
The BIOS shows the HD, CD-ROM and floppy are being seen by
the server yet it's not booting up with the Boot up disk.

To do a clean install, either boot the Windows 2000 install CD-Rom or setup
disks. The set of four install disks can be created from your Windows 2000
CD-Rom; change to the \bootdisk directory on the CD-Rom and execute
makeboot.exe (from dos) or makebt32.exe (from 32 bit) and follow the
prompts.

When you get to the point, delete the existing NTFS and or other partitions
found. After you delete the partition(s) abort the install, then again
restart the pc booting the CD-Rom or setup disks to avoid unexpected drive
letter assignments with your new install.
