Hey guys im new here but im having a huge problem I have been trying to solve for about 2 weeks now im ready to murder people..Im trying to install the drivers to a new headset that I bought and the install is Installshield and here is the error I get
Error Number:0x80040706
Description: Object reference not set
Setup wil now terminate
I read a fix here on this website https://www.pcreview.co.uk/forums/thread-452822.php but it dosent work for me I guess because it is old or something I have searched and searched throughout google no luck at all please someone help.

P.S. I cant even update install shield because the updates are installshield so I just get the error..
