Error Msg appears after initial install of Outlook 2003

I just upgraded from Outlook 2002 to 2003 using XP Home OS.

After install and each time OL2003 is opened, the following msg appears:

[The Add-in "C:\program files\google\google DesktopSearch\googleDesktopO..."
could not be installed or loaded. This problem may be resolved by using
Detect and Repair on the Help Menu]

I understand what Google Desktop is but do not have installed on this
machine. It's not in the Add or Remove Programs area nor in the All Programs
location. It's simply not on the PC (maybe at one point of time it was).

Can anyone assist how I can remove this error msg?
Thank you!!

Start Outlook and see if it is listed at Tools > Options > Other tab >
Advanced Options. Check the Addin Manager button and COM Addins button. If
listed, uncheck the box next to it. If not listed, then post back for
directions about removing it from the registry.

sounds easy enough. I'll check it out on Monday when I'm back in the office.
If that does not work, I'm familiar with the registry and will be able to
understand your directions well. we'll see. thx!
