I recently installed a new adsl modem and since that time I've been getting
error messages on start up, The error log shows an event ID 7000 and the
following mesage.

The general purpose USB Driver adldr.sys sevice failed due to the following
error. The service cannot be started either becasue it is disabled or becasue
it has no enabled devices asociated with it.

The modem is a Sagem Fast 800.

There are immedialtely after this 2 further error messages ID 7023 and ID
7001

Any ideas how to fix this please?

I'm having problems downloading music off of Bearshare I keep error and then
it shuts down

Thanks for the links to the sites.
I've confirmed that I've got the latest driver for the modem but I've still
got the problem.

I'm wondering if the problem is within the caomputer (possibly to do with
the USB's) rather than the modem.

I think I'll have to take it into the repair shop.

Many thanks for responding.

Teresa
