ERROR MESSAGED BUT NO ERRORS LISTED

When I first open Windows Mail and check for messages everything is fine,
however after this, if and when I hit send/receive or an auto check occurs I
get the message 'SOME ERRORS OCCURRED WHILE PROCESSING THE REQUESTED TASK.
PLEASE REVIEW THE LIST OF ERRORS BELOW FOR MORE DETAILS'.
The problem is, there are no listed errors to review.

Can anyone please advise how to fix. cheers

What antivirus programs if any do you have? I've seen one (Norton)
cause that problem. To stop it, you probably have to uninstall one
of the antivirus programs.

I use Trend-Micro PCcillin internet security 2007.
It worked fine until I had to reformat and reinstall vista.

I've heard of a recent version from Trend (with no details on which one)
causing various problems in Windows Mail.

I have the same problem and I right now have no anti-virus installed. (new
installation) I also connect through a Sprint Aircard, maybe that has
something to do with it.

I was hoping to alert Microsoft to this bug so they could fix it. I can work
around it simply by clicking, "Receive All" as a seperate action, to send
however I have to exit MS Mail and click "Yes" when it says, "You have unsent
messages! Do you want to send them?"

Where would I report a bug like this?

Microsoft doesn't pay much attention to this newsgroup, which is run by
volunteers which mostly don't work for Microsoft.

Click on Tools, then Accounts, then your email account, then Properties.
If there's no check mark in the box before Include this account when
receiving mail or synchronizing, click on this box and then Apply.
Click on OK and then Close.

Click on Tools, then Options. If there's no check mark in the box
before Send and receive messages at startup, click on this box and then
Apply. Click on Send. If there's no check mark in the box before
Send messages immediately, click on this box and then Apply. Click
on OK.

If you still need to send a bug report, try here but don't expect an
answer:

I figured it out! It's the "Microsoft Communities" folder at the bottom!!!

When it downloads your e-mails it's also trying to download postings into
the Microsoft Communities folder, but if you don't have that set up then it
won't be able to. And so there's an error message, but it doesn't know how to
tell you what's wrong.

The solution is simple, click on "Microsoft Communities" with your right
mouse button and select "Remove Account". Confirm that you want to remove the
account and the problem is solved!

WOOHOO! :)

Some people prefer to use the Microsoft Communities newsgroup
access to this newsgroup. It filters out many of the people who want
you to switch to operating systems other than Vista. If you can't
make it work, though, you might as well remove it.
