Error message

I asked this question in a different group and did not receive any response,
so I'll try it here:

Every time I open Outlook 2003, I'm greeted with the following error message:

"C: Documents and
Settings\jwyant\ApplicationData\Microsoft\Add-ins\C:WINDOWS\system32\cabget.dll’ is not a valid Office add-in."

Once I click, "okay," the program works without further problems.

Does anyone know why this problem is occuring, or how to get rid of the
annoying error?

I have tried re-installing looking for the file "cabget.dll," but it doesn't
even exist under the path stated.

Any help would be appreciated.

Try deleting the (hidden) file
%UserProfile%\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook\Extend.dat

Unfortunately, that file does not exist on my computer.

As I said, it's a hidden file. You must enable viewing hidden files and
folders in order to search for it. Try this: open Windows Explorer and in
the Address Bar, enter

%UserProfile%\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook

Click Go. What do you see?

I deleted this file from the folder and it still comes up with the error. I
have already tried using the outlook repair and uninstalling and reinstalling
office with no hope. What would you recommend now?

I'd use regedit to remove any reference to that DLL under the Office keys.
