Error message

Microsodt news server

I inserted a blank cd into my D drive and clicked on the icon to open and I
get a error msg: D:\ is not accessible incorrect function. Anybody what is
wrong?
 
If the blank cd was from a new pack, check that the cd is compatible ie not
for ULTRA-SPEED drive.
