Error Message: XP Home Backup: Backup file too large

P

Pat

I get this message when attempting to backup my system:
"You have either run out of space, or the backup file
(.btf) is too large for this disk. NOTE: If this disk is
formatted with FAT 32, the maximum possible size for the
backup file is limited to 4 GB. The backup operation
will stop."

I checked my C: drive, and there is currently 14 GB
of "used space" and 3.67 GB of "free space."

I have selected the CD ROM to backup my files.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!!!!!!!!!

If ntbackup is real vanilla. It was written before cdrw
drives. ON the backup tab screen You have Backup media or
file name (the default is either A;drive or c:drive You
need to change that to d drive . Select browse. Use the
drop down and select the d drive.
I assuming you have easy cd creator (or some competor
product) and you have the cd properlly formatted Because
ntbackup can't format cds. If you are serious about
backup you should purchase Stomp Backup MYPC Or you can
get if free from kazaa.
