Error Message: Windows Cannot Find 'Copy'

I am getting the subject message on startup. Not always, but frequently. I
get to the Welcome screen, and the boot process hangs up. When I hit any
key, I get the subject message which tells me to do a search for the file
'Copy'. When I hit escape, the computer proceeds to startup OK.

I don't know of anything that I have done to cause this problem. My Startup
folder is empty. I have had my computer for a year and a half with no
startup problems whatsoever, and have just started getting this error
message and hangup.

If someone could help me get rid of it, I would be most appreciative.

I am also suddenly getting this exact same message about
the copy command. It seems to have started when I
downloaded and installed a Windows Update a couple days
ago.
