error message when trying to send mail

Hello I am getting an error message when trying to send mail, especially when
sending mail with an attachment. Simple "test" emails are working. Error
reads:

Sending reporting error (0x800CCC80) None of the authentication methods
supported by this client are supported by your server.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
