Error message when opening Outlook

Lately, each time I open Outlook I get the error message: FA data file did
not close properly the last time it was used and is being checked for
problems.............. I always close Outlook by going to the File Menu and
selecting "Exit". I have closed by using the "X" in the upper right corner
but I get the same result, that being the error message, no matter how I
exit Outlook Any suggestions?

Do you have any add-ins that might be keeping Outlook open in the background
even after you have closed the main interface? After you shut down Outlook
next time, open Windows Task Manager, click the Processes tab, and see if
OUTLOOK.EXE still appears in the list.
