error message when closing an acrobat reader window

Has anyone else had a problem with an error message when
closing and acrobat reader window?
This is an iexplore.exe Application error:
The instruction @0x0355f45b referrenced memory 0x00000000.
The memory could not be "read".
Click on OK to terminate.

I would appreciate any suggestions to clear this.
