Error message shdoclc.dll/dnserror.htm in browser address line

Hiya, can anyone help me? I get the above in my browser
address line when I am accessing some sites. I have
tried lots of things recommended by my provider (AOL) and
the sites in question such as, checking my browser
settings, reinstalling AOL, etc all to no avail.

I'd be very grateful of any information you have.

You're getting an error 4** from the browser. Uninstall AOL, delete your
network stack, and start over setting up your dial-up network.
