Error message on closedown

I routinely see an error message when I close down either
of my PCs running XP. It says that the application ccApp
is not responding - it then clears and closes down
correctly. Anyone know why or what this means please?
 
I have just started getting the same problem, together
with a subsequent inability to go online with either I.E
or Outlook, OEM software like Word no longer working,
system restore and other control panel functions
inoperative as well. So if there are any suggestions this
would be great.

ccApp comes from Norton Antivirus. Check with their tech support for
help. They have a knowledge base on Symantec's website.
