Error message occurs upon XP start up.

When I start (or restart) Windows XP I get an error
message that reads: "Microsoft Powerpoint has encountered
a problem and needs to close".

Note: I am not attemptiing to use PowerPoint at this
time. I am only going to my desktop.

I have performed Detect & Repair with no results.

Any ideas?
