I started experiencing a problem with my PC where I would
turn it on and after a couple minutes everything shut
down. The "on" lights for my tower and monitor remained
on, but the system appeared to have just turned off. I
decided to do "system restore" because that is the only
thing I really know how to do to fix problems

After the restore, my computer seemed to work fine, but
now whenever I startup, i get an error message that
says "mdata.dat cannot be found"
I have never experienced this message before, and I have
not installed any new hardware or software recently.
((I bought and installed a new mouse about 6 months ago,
but that is it.))
